Brock Lesnar "In His Own Words"
Brock Lesnar's pre-fight interview is up. Here's a link to it on UFC's website http://www.ufc.com/news/Brock-Lesnar-In-His-Own-Words But my favorite part is they also showed a bunch of Brock Lesnar's past quotes! I know it's still difficult for some people to take him seriously being his history with the WWE, but he is an athlete, a BIG athlete, and a damn good one. Check it out! The upcoming match against Alistair Overeem may prove to be a good one to see.

Lesnar vs. Overeem
So, we have the big match coming up with Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem. There's a little drug test controversy going on with Overeem, but lets pretend that's not currently an issue at the moment. Lets just talk about the match itself. I personally think that Lesnar is the underdog in this match, though that fact could be debated on a couple of his past matches. Overeem is a more well rounded fighter and has a lot more experience under his belt. Also Overeem having more submission skill and experience I think is a huge advantage over Lesnar. That being said, I think depending on how Lesnar has spent his time training will determine how much of an advantage Overeem has. There are two things that if Lesnar has improved on, I think that he will be a difficult opponent to beat. First would be his conditioning. It may just be my imagination, but in most of Lesnar's past fights he seemed to tire pretty quickly. If he can or has improved his conditioning that in itself makes him a huge threat. The second would be his ground game. Now don't confuse that with wrestling, because he is a great wrestler, but he seems to have difficulty reversing submission moves. If he improves both of those attributes as a fighter, I think he may become one of the toughest heavyweight opponents to beat. So, I guess we will all see come UFC 141, but if I were to give my pick, I'm going to have to give it to Overeem. What do you think?
